The challenge
Collectors see a constant stream of pack openings, rare-card showcases, price updates and hobby news. The content had to stand out and still feel like it came from someone in the hobby:
- Headlines that say the interesting part fast
- Topics that match what collectors care about: rare cards, graded slabs, values and nostalgia
- Plain language for market news instead of technical jargon
- A clear next step for people curious about the brand
02
What I did
I built four repeatable content categories:
- Collector price checks: one card at the centre of the post, such as Umbreon VMAX #215 and Umbreon ex #161, with a call to action to the CatchBack website
- Card spotlights: recognisable Pokรฉmon like Magikarp, for both serious collectors and casual fans
- Collectibles news: record prices, rare finds, auctions and trends turned into short, clear stories
- Viral community stories: unusual pack openings, vintage memorabilia, cards turned into art, and authenticity debates
Each idea was then written separately for Instagram, TikTok and X: more context and a question on Instagram, a short hook on TikTok, a direct summary on X, with keywords and hashtags for each.

The outcome
A content system with four categories that can be repeated without depending on breaking news, with headlines and captions written for each platform.
On CatchBack's Instagram, the published posts covered bounty events (a $120,000 Charizard slab from a $100 pack, a $60,000 Shining Mew), pack launches like the Graveyard and Hypebeast packs, pull showcases and a Silver Pack giveaway. A selection is below. Analytics for these posts are not available yet, so I am not claiming reach, follower or sales numbers.
